Access
Guests to Skitchine Lodge can be met at the Kamloops Airport. Those guests wishing to drive, receive a map prior to arrival which shows the back road route to the trail head. From the trail head , guests are transported to Skitchine Lodge by camp transportation. With restricted vehicular access the 16 secluded lakes and surrounding forests enjoyed by Skitchine guests exist, protected, in some of the most beautiful wilderness country left in North America.
The way in from the trail head will awe you with it's flora. At your feet lay beds of trillium, baby dogwood, and acres of blue lupine. Although the closest town is a mere hour away by road, once settled comfortably, the hustle and bustle of civilization is but a distant thought.
